Bar Fight? Hehe

So during the DeWolf family party we all saw and/or heard Niko hit the floor after falling four feet off the church stage and into the gym floor.. on his face. It was a super scary moment for all of us when he was screaming so hard he almost blacked out.. I was so scared to let him fall asleep for fear he had a concussion (didn't know if he hit his head or face or what!) on the ride home! LOL.. poor little guy, after an hour or so he looked up at me with the most tired eyes and a hint of worry and said, "Is it safe to sleep now.." no sooner did I say yes he was fast asleep. This was a pic I took before he went to bed that night. The next morning it was sore but all was well. :)

BEE's Game

So I tried to keep the weekend going strong so that the sting of not-camping would start to go away, so... we took the kids to a Bee's Game! I thought it would be fun and the kids loved it at first, that was until the hot dogs and the snow cones were gone, by the end of the 9th inning we were tied.. which sent us into a 10th.. LOL. The kids thought it would never end, by the 7th inning it was like we were torturing them.. Patience is a tough lesson..

But then they got little wooden bats and suddenly the wait was allllllll worth it! :)

Memorial Day - Change of Plans..

So we had planned to go camping on Memorial Day this year, we had the site reserved and all the gear ready in the front of the storage, the kids were sooooo excited... And then I got an email and a phone call saying my campsite was being cancelled because there was stilla foot of snow on the ground.. what a bummer.

So instead we went to the park for a picnic and then up Mill Creek Canyon to do some hiking, it was a good day but let's all hope Mother nature makes a decision soon, we are aiming again for Father's Day weekend to go camping and it better be nice!!!

Has it really Been A Month??

Okay, I guess I got too caught up looking at all the babies and the lives of others to actually add anything to my blog. I just read on Megan's blog that it had been a month since my last post, so.. I figure I should put something up so ya'll doing think I've died... ;)

School ‘Spring’ Pictures

The question I have is this…

What happened to the good old school pictures that were taken after you played all day and your hair was a mess and you had dirt on your face and then they took your picture and they double exposed it so there was a floating spirit head looking down at you? (any of you that had school pictures taken in the 80’s know what I’m talkin about!) LOL.. ahh.. those were the good old days. Instead they have super cute pictures that you can’t be nearly as embarrassed about in the future when they are pulled out and reminisced over. .. Such a shame.

AND...Why can’t Nicholas smile like this in MY pictures?? Instead I have to pay too much to buy these just to show he truly IS capable of a real smile and not the fake ‘I have gas’ smile. That kid.. I swear!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE LADY!!

I can't believe this little lady is 8 today!! She makes me smile, makes me crazy, makes me wonder, makes me laugh, and makes me cry, but above all she makes me so grateful each and every day that she is a part of my life, and that she allows me to be a part of hers. I love you so so much Samantha.. XOXO

Hands & Hearts Across America

Oh man! Who doesn't love school performances?? The kids have been practicing songs for months for this thing, and we all packed the house to finally see the actual performance, as always it was crowded.. loud.. unorganized.. and totally adorable. :) Look at these super cuties. Can you guess which one will be in Drama Club when in High School? Hehehehe
