First Day Of School - 3rd Grade!!

So not only is it the first day of school for the kids, but it is a NEW school, all new people, new rules, new friends... Samantha was terrified. She barely spoke two words as she stood in line anxiously awaiting the bell to ring. We kept telling her that this was the worst part, and by the end of the day it would be okay.. She didn't look convinced. :)

(SOO PRETTY!!) The little pep-talk from Daddy seemed to help, and in no time at all..

She was back to her smiling self.. :)

It's so amazing how fast they grow. I have to remind myself to hug and kiss them as much as I can before it's too late and they are embarrassed by the very presence of parents... ;)

BTW.. I told her to call me after school to tell me how it went... SO when she did call and I asked how it went.. her response.. "IT WAS AWESOME!!"

Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum

So we took a trip to the Thanksgiving Point Dinosaur Museum, we haven't been there for awhile but its actually pretty cool. The kids love to touch and play all the interactive games and guess the dinosaurs. But the the erosion table, they could be there for HOURS!

Outdoor Movie @ West Jordan Park

So I know I'm really far behind but I'll just put up a few highlights. :) This trip we went to a carnival and watched 'Flushed Away' at the park on a big outdoor screen. The kids loved it!

Niko was pretty pissed off, he was 'too small' to go on most the rides, even the slide!! It was so lame!

Wheeler Farm Summer Camp!

So the kids will be switching schools and daycares next month so we are trying to slowly move them away from their comfort zones and make then see that change is good! So we took them out of the usual daycare and put then into this wheeler farm day camp! It is awesome, they collect eggs, milk cows, ride horses, feed pigs, dip candles.. I wish they had it around when I was a kid! They were nervous the first day (when I say nervous I mean they were clinging to each of my legs LOL) but after that day they ran off without so much as a wave goodbye each time we drop them off. Here are a few pics just hanging out at the farm.
Some of the ducks have these weird feather puffs on their heads, and Samantha is calling them Afro-Ducks. LOL

This little calf 'Molly' was born on the day they started camp, they were so excited to see her all week!

Family Camp Weekend

Well, we had to make it up to them.. Since Memorial Day was a bust and had to be canceled because of snow on the ground, we decided that camping over the weekend of my birthday and Father's day was a good time to go and celebrate all of it TOGETHER! We only stayed for a couple of nights but we had a lot of fun. :) --- There are a lot of pics.. Sorry! LOL
